This Saturday, January 23rd from 11:00-3:00 at Mission Central Elementary the community of Mission is invited to come to our yearly family literacy event, the Riot of Reading.  This is fun family event that is absolutely free for everyone who wishes to join us.  There will be many different booths providing information on different community programs.  Visitor will have the chance to get involved with different crafts and games as they travel about the fair.  In addition, throughout the event there will be numerous performances of music, dance, drama and stories, and a magician who will arrive around 1:00.  Many of these activities, though performance based, will encourage audience interaction.  A great amount of fun can be had by all. In addition we will get to meet Clifford the big red dog, and Geronimo Stilton.  Both will be wandering around the fair throughout the day.  Towards the end of the event the large community cake will be cut and there will be pizza and refreshments available to go with our sweet dessert.

Some Students offer their invitations 🙂
